Residents are supervised in vocational preparation via the chore program. Staff must provide consistent support and guidance within professional boundaries and guidelines. Must support Alpha House’s vision and mission at all times and be an effective and enthusiastic team member. Alpha House is staffed 24 hours a day.

ON-CALL (RELIEF STAFF) – PART TIME

POSITION SUMMARY:  We are currently accepting applications for an on-call residential assistant. The candidate will have the availability to provide on-call coverage during the weekdays, afternoons, and weekday evenings.  On-call staff provide residential care assistance for 23 maternity residents at Alpha House of Tampa, Inc.  Responsibilities include provide supervision of residents, transportation to appointments, emotional support, and assistance in caring for infants/children.

Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  Minimum one (1) year experience working in human services. Participate in a minimum of 40 hours of continuing education in each year of employment.  Receive and maintain CPR and Basic First Aid certification.  DCF background clearance and fingerprinting required.  Must have a current driver’s license in good standing and be able to be covered by the organization’s auto insurance policy.  Candidate must have basic computer skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).  Bi-lingual a plus.
 

RELIEF STAFF - PART TIME 
THUR & FRI 4:00pm – 12:00am AND SATURDAY 3:00pm – 11:00pm
